IMG 0270WOW! Spring is Tuesday, March 20th! The earth may be snow-covered, frozen and hard, but we know that there is still much activity underneath. We too are hard at work preparing a fruitful spring for our congregation.

It was exhilarating to see so many of you at Temple for our Purim festivities at the end of February. Despite the cold, over 250 people in attended. The evening began with a lively K’tantan Purim celebration. The children were thrilled with the balloon man, games and food. The grand finale was the “The Totally Rad 80s Spiel”, which garnered RAVE reviews. It was a truly fun time for all.

This is just one of many Jewish-centered, religious and cultural experiences we would like to continue providing for our congregation. While living in the city exposes us to a wide variety of cultural venues, such as theater, the Philharmonic, ballet and opera, there are not many opportunities to enjoy an evening of Jewish-focused entertainment. That is where Temple Beth-El comes in!

Just a few of TBE’s other social and/or Jewish-centered entertainment opportunities for its members already on the schedule for the remainder of this year include: the Women’s Community Seder on March 20th at 6:00 PM; Sharon Abraham Weis, Executive Director of The Association for Civil Rights in Israel on March 22nd at noon and, our world-famous Shabbatini on March 24th at 6:00 PM. We surely have something of interest for everyone in our congregation. Be sure to check your mail, our website, and the Shofar for all the specifics on these Upcoming Events!
